congratulations mate, must say I don't think I would ever attempt it no matter if I could run 30km or 60km not the easiest run like you said in the rain. Congratulations once again.

well done on such a horrible day. i used to walk marathons a few years back my last being hawaii,then due to a car accident (being hit off my bike) the injuries recieved made it easier for me to just ride as its low impact. most of my training i did on the linea park, i live at westlakes and each week used to go further & further up. if you put the training in you will do fine, its all about mind set. good luck i'll be keeping an eye on your progress .....Di
