FYI: Are you noticing new members who link to EVERYONE, yet add no messages, comments, responses nor any photographic content?

Ten years of internet experience has taught me that these 'members' (because generally they are not human) may be email-harvesters, image-thieves, spam-bots (getting ready for a massive advert campaign). You'd be wise to 'ignore' them.

Examples:
Addyson Campbell
There have been others on PW's Ning site, but this is the most recent.

Search your 'friend'-list, you'll soon find there are others!

If I am wrong about this person, please tell me.

Thanks for the comment and the good ideas:
You've said: "As I've seen, a great looking avatar followed by copious responses and gifts sent is enough to suspect this is a troller" --- That's the same reason I was concerned that this was not a real person. PW's has had a few of these over the last few months, yet it takes a while for people to realise. Makes you wonder how many users over on Facebook are also Trolls!

Interestingly I have noticed you are connected with two other members of PW's whom I also suspect are also Trolls:
Abigail Harman
Lindsey Adam

Thanks Stephen,

Yeah such are the vagaries of this thing called the net that these time wasters delight in annoying the living daylights out ofus. Have found a good way of weeding out these legitimate requests. Firstly don't just out and out accept these invitations. Secondly check out their profile and look for something a bit more than a photo. Check for how much info if any they've provided. And finaly before accepting, send out a request for friendship yourself. If you get a response all well and good otherwise its bye bye and delete. I was suspicious about one request myself thinking this is indeed a spammer; in this case they were legit. But guys particularly take note, and as I've seen, a great looking avatar followed by copious responses and gifts sent is enough to suspect this is a troller. Any comments replies following the initial request? You could lay a safe bet that it is indeed a troller. Honestly some of these need a life. Cheers! Chop Chop!
