Computer Advice

Many of our customers seem unaware that Photographic Wholesalers are able to offer sales and advice on Computers.

While we sell and recommend Apple products our staff use both Apple and Windows Hardware and can offer Hard Drives and other backup devices for sale.

A Windows machine is more than capable of acting as a photographic workhorse, but many of us will choose Apple for it's elegant virus free design, low power consumption, improved colour management capabilities, simpler networking and it's capability to run Windows at the same time on the same machine*

*This is a good way to run software which may not be available for the Mac, although generally a better alternative is already available. (Unfortunately it is then a requirement to install virus protection which would not otherwise be required)

Remember too that we sell, use and train software such as Lightroom, Photoshop, Aperture, Final Cut, Nikon Capture, VMWare Fusion
