no im self taught, i use a fujifilm s81000 finepix which is a point and shoot it has two good macro setting just macro and super macro but you still need to get the hang of the focus and hold it really steady. all my macro shots are hand held & sometimes i may hold the flower in one hand and shoot with the other trust me i get lots of flops but i persist
