Panasonic!

I recentyl purchased a compact digital for my wife, a Panasonic DMC-LS80.

It is a great little camera, EXCEPT!

After I take a shot, it takes some 2-3 seconds before the LCD screen lights up again before I can take another shot!

I contacted Panasonic about this issue and after much discussion, they advised me it was the SD card reading too slow. On this advice, I just purchased a Panasonic 2GB SD card, Class 6 which reads much faster, 20MB/s.

Cheap!

Hi,
My first post a s a Newby.
I'm after a CHEAP digital compact camera for my wife. She only needs something small and compact to stick in her hand bag.
She has an Olympus C725 at the moment, but it requires a rather large carry case...this is what we want to get rid of, she just wants something she can put in her handbag.
Any suggestions?
