"Smooth photo shop job. The feet and the shadows over the sand are excellent. As is the lighting definition."

Digital Retouching ahoy

Heya everyone,

Just a quick shoutout (it's 3am and I really should be considering closing photoshop and going to bed) but...

I'm starting a digital retouching buisness here in Adelaide, so if you have any digital editing work you need done give me a call. I discovered I really do stink at photography, but photoshop is indeed a passion of mine and making images go from amazing to simply mindblowing is pretty much the reason I climb out of bed every morning.

New around here... What the heck?

Heya everyone. I sort of came to this site looking for prices on things... but apparently its impossible to find such shizz on this site!

Anyhooze. I'm a student studying at Uni SA. I have been there for about four years now studying part time while traveling australia photographing bands and other such things. I love digital photography and photomanipulation and I'm currently looking for work in the industry.

Hi Gee. What an amazing collection of images you have! So awesomely different and so well executed.
Now for the light bulb trick. Break off the bottom of a light bulb and fill it with water (obviously the base of the lightbulb needs to be at the top. I made a small hole in the metal screw in part so I could insert a thin rod. This rod went through a hole in the white paper backdrop and held the light bulb up. Then it is just a matter of dropping in red food colouring and snapping until you get something you like. Post processing just needs to include a 180o turn so the base now is at the bottom of the image.
Have fun!
