Hi sorry to take this long LOl i havent checked this site for ages.. more of my work can be seen at...http://skorpion1.deviantart.com/gallery/
Thank you sorry again for the long delay
Oh and I also have pics on flickr.com/photos/alfiek
i read on one of your images that you had to remove some photos cause some people found them offensive? lol. id love to see the ones that have been removed, you create some remarkable images! do you have a website that I may view?
Thank you Stephen. I feel that sometimes photographers should evoke emotions that are sometimes not pleasant to look at. I think its our job to make the viewer aware of all the things that make up our world, not just the cutsie and pretty. Ugliness…
I had a couple of other pics on here but they have disturbed ppl so I have removed them. I guess I best stick to pretty and socially acceptable pics for this site.. if these pics offend please tell me and i shcall remove them too
Thanks all. No Stephen thats as i took it I had a shallow DOF and the bird is in a cage at thr gorge wildlife park. The background just turned out like that. Its actually one of the off shots that looks better printed then on here. I am having it…

Thanks Alf. I couldn't believe that face when it popped out of the window. What a character. Lovely dog as well. Irish Wolf Hound/ Shepherd cross. Beautiful nature.
it's amazing you look at an image & sometimes it is not what you think it should be, so there you go an elegant image which looks a million dollars only cost $3.70
Hi Alf, Have posted that pic of the bridge at night. It's amazing how different light can give the same structure a completely different feel. If ever you feel like doing a night shoot in town I would be more than happy to team up with you or others as there is saftey in numbers.
Hi Alf
Thank you for your comment
I like the type of photos you take- and the simplicity of some of them.
It's such a joy to capture those special moments isn't it !
I'm also new- I used to be close to a competent amature /semi pro about ten years ago - But I've lost touch whilst the technology was changing - and was never pleased with the emphasis on pixels away from lens quality.
At least we can have both now. I have invested in a Nikon 5000D a few weeks ago, and all of the sudden my old passion has re-ignited !
