Thanks Stephen! To stop the sinking of the tripod during the exposure I push it into the sand as the water flows out while I'm composing. I think in this particular case it was buried to almost the halfway mark of the last leg segments.

Very nice placement of the rock, great colours. What do you do to stop the tripod sinking into the wet sand?
