Havign been in fire situations like that when i was in the cfs, I can really appreciate how warm it would ahve been. Fantastic photograph capturing the all too often inability to make much difference to a fire of such proportions. Congratualations on that special "moment in time" grab.

Great shot. The truck adds scale, sprays look like they would not be very effective against such a fire front. Too close for my liking.

Great shot Stephen. The truck dwarfed by the flame in the smoke, draws you in.

I took three photos as we came out in front of the truck in the picture, this is the second of the three the first and the last we nothing like this one so it was a fleeting moment in time, don't know about scary but it was very hot.
