Myponga Beach and its old jetty keeps luring me back due to the different appearances by light and tide. That morning, the high tide coincided with dawn with little swell meaning that I could wade out for this reflection shot.
On another note:
Marianne and I have an exhibition running for 3 weeks starting on January 13. It is located at Gallery M and features images from SA, Tassie, Victoria, Iceland, Nepal, Scotland with a theme of 'Transient Light'. We'll be there on opening night if anyone wants to talk 'shop' !

Comment by Dino Proctor on December 11, 2011 at 10:30pm Thanks Dylan. I think I've only taken mine apart once or twice in the twenty one years I've had it. But then again I've just bought a new one, so I think I'll be more diligent with it.
Comment by Dylan Toh on December 11, 2011 at 3:51pm I take apart the tripod after every trip to the sea and give it a good clean - it does wear with time though - as for mud, pulling out the lowest leg as far as possible and save the rest ! not protection I guess but minimising damage
Comment by Dino Proctor on December 11, 2011 at 12:58pm Nicely composed. If you don't mind me asking, how do you protect your tripod from the water and mud?
