Lightning at long last

Lots of drama to get this shot. It's my first lightning capture.

Hopefully this isn't my only '10' for the year.

Congratulations on your first, an excellent shot and hopefully the start of many. Be careful though, lightning photography is awfully addictive. :D

@Steven (views) this is minor interest. It got 2,000 unique hits in a week on Flickr. I thought the shot was ok, but other ppl see it differently :-)

Thanks for the info. The white light trails on the left edge of the corner made me think this was a one way stretch of road. I had thought it couldpossibly be this point where you took it, Norton Summit or Greenhill Rd. Great shot, getting lots of views.

The photo was taken in Lynton. This is Belair Road at the second to last hairpin before you reach Windy Point.
