Edge of the Cliff

Latrabjarg is famously known for its abundant birdlife during summer. Unfortunately, we were too early for the multitudes of winged creatures, although some had already begun nesting. We saw just one puffin, though we have read that tens of thousands nest there throughout June, July and into August.

It was a long, windy trek along the edge of the cliffs, and a very sheer drop. The highest cliff stands at approximately 400m. A revisit is most definitely on the cards.
