Thank you for noticing, I am still learning and hope to address these points and others over time. What would you recommend as a user friendly editing software for a novice photographer intending to grow and become Pro?

Nice setting, but the horizon angle is not so good. Try to keep horizontal lines horizontal and vertical lines vertical. If you don't get it right "in camera", rotate and crop it in you image processing software. This would also benefit from bracketed images merged to HDR.
