I'd like to think that my photo pf the lion in a warm tone black and white isn't so bad.... but then again i got beaten by the black and white girl with the yellow Nikon strap for the best bus picture... As for the rest of the discussion board.... i pretty much agree with everything said... esp, for the females in question.

A suggestion...maybe next time add one of those "great photographers and a female photographer" with the judges that way everyone will be happy. cheers Tom

WoW relax guys and girls... It was a fun contest . my photo had more views than anyones and it was absolute crap. It was just meant to be a fun thing thats the way i saw it and played it .. Let me know next time Harvey Norman and Myers take you out for the day for $20 buckeroonies.. Who cares who won .... No offense intended .. Happy Snapping

all i can add is that the images must print far better than they present on line which is unusual. don't get me wrong I had a great day but maybe having a competition wasn't such a good idea after all as it dissappointing to be beaten by images such as those selected.

Nothing against the photographer but if this was the best photo of the day i would hate to see the worst.......

Hi.
To answer your questions.
Four people judged the winning images. The images online have been printed and are on display at the Photographic Wholesalers gallery.
The judges could not tell who, or what gender, submitted their images. The images were all scored without discussion and the points were tallied accordingly.
I appreciate that our collective opinions are subjective and hope everyone that attended the event enjoyed themselves.
Thanks for your comments.

i dont think the guys would discriminate the photos due to the photographers sex...
and im sure they picked the photos not by looking at the names..
but one thing i may add is.. how of all those pictures did the winner win?? what is so special? (not trying to upset anyone, just curious why it got chosen)
