coco flash ring adapter

Hi I am considering purchasing one of these. I probably wouldnt use it often enough to warrant purchsing a flash ring so thought this may be a more financial option. Has anyone ever used one of these adaptors? Thoughts?

What are you looking to take photo's of? if you wanting to use as a "Beauty ring" don't Bother. If you are using for macro they are OK. What flash do you have (SB600, SB800, SB900). What are you looking to shoot?

We do have the coco flash adapter in store so if you want to test ring adapter out feel free to pop past the store.
