Canon Australia is pleased to announce two new additions to the Canon Digital Camera range, featuring the next generation of the S-series and SX-series.

The launch see’s the introduction of the ground-breaking new DiG!C 5 Image Processor, delivering clear, sharp images even when the main subject and background are lit with different light sources, thanks to Advanced White Balance. With an improved noise reduction function, only noise is suppressed while maintaining the image resolution even when shooting at a high ISO speed. 

The PowerShot S100, an upgrade from the popular PowerShot S95, features a Genuine Canon EOS inspired 1/1.7 type CMOS Sensor, achieving superior image capture. It also features a newly designed F2.0, 24mm Wide Angle Lens with 5x Optical Zoom, making it perfect for capturing a broad range of shots – especially family portraits, and landscape shots such as mountain ranges or sunsets. The F2.0 allows you to shoot beautiful images in low-light conditions without using the flash

The PowerShot SX40 HS is the perfect travel companion and your ideal outdoor partner, comprising an impressive 35x Optical Zoom and Intelligent IS, it’s never been easier to capture clear shots at super zoom. It also features a 12.1 Megapixel High Sensitivity Sensor, 24mm Wide Angle Lens and FULL HD Movie.
