Ricoh is pleased to announce the release of the RICOH CX-3. Following on from the CX-2 being the Australian CAMERA MAGAZINE 'Consumer Camera of the Year 2009', the CX3 has been blessed with additional features & system upgrades, and although it may look similar to a CX2, see below for main upgrades....
SENSOR: By far and away the most important change is the sensor. The CX3 is equipped with a new back-illuminated 10MP CMOS sensor. This new revolutionary sensor further enhances the sensitivity while also reducing noise.
NOISE REDUCTION: The noise reduction level can be specified as Off, Auto, Weak, Strong, or MAX
S-AUTO: This mode replaces the “easy” mode and will set the optimum settings for the particular conditions when you point the camera
DYNAMIC RANGE SETTING: With the dynamic range mode you can now set the bias towards highlights or shadows
HD MOVIE: The CX3 is equipped with movie mode at resolution of 720p
ASPECT RATIO 16:9: A convenient new setting handy for images on wide screen TVs
PLAYBACK MODES: Some great new additions including playback by date
OTHER: Pet mode and Face-Priority AF
Of course the CX3 is equipped with the strong Ricoh features that won the CX1&2 many awards including the 10.7x optical zoom, multi-pattern white balance, high speed continuous shooting, high resolution 3.0” 920,000 pixel screen, macro, target AF/AE, multi-target AF, image sensor shift blur reduction, electronic level, 13 scene modes including miniaturization mode and more….
