Hi Jason,
Nikon have not mentioned a new model and it is unlikely we will see one this year. They have extended the cash back due to the popularity of the camera.
Were you looking as a body or in kit form. The D90 with 18-105mm was selling for about $1700 from memory, however please contact the store on 08 8223 6777 or sales@photowholesalers.com.au as I am currently on holiday and can not check the exact price :)
